Join us for a weekend brunch, dinner, or just a beautiful sunset cruise in the heart of Edmonton. Under new ownership since 2016, we’ve done a million dollar renovation on the Edmonton Queen, now known as the Edmonton Riverboat. She deserves a visit!

We are currently operating Thursday and Friday at 5 PM and 8 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM, 2 PM, 5 PM and 8 PM. *There is no sailing at 2 PM on July 1**

Please ensure you leave enough time to find parking. Due to last year’s success of the Accidental Beach there are parking restrictions in Cloverdale. If the Rafters Landing lot is full you can try the Muttart Conservatory parking lot, or the Edmonton Ski club. The locations can be found on our Contact page. Please observe all Bylaws when parking at any location. If you park on the grass at Rafters Landing there is a good chance that you will receive a ticket.

We encourage you to reserve tickets online but we do also sell some tickets at the boat.

The ship leaves approximately 1 hour after boarding begins. The cruise lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. For just a cruise, the cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children–some events are cruise plus meal. Food is available for purchase if you purchase just a cruise ticket. Again, this will all vary by event.

Please note, these times may change due to things like weather and private events. Always check our website–sign up to our newsletter here to always be updated.

For future bookings but you will see everything announced on the Edmonton Riverboat Bookings and Reservations page.

The cruise lasts 60-90 minutes. For example, if you have a 5 PM cruise, boarding begins at 5 PM, the gangway goes up at 6 PM and the boat leaves shore. The boat returns to shore at approximately 7:30 PM. The next group, if there is one, boards approximately 30 minutes later.

Guests should be prepared to walk approximately 200 meters North from the ticket shack down an incline or stairs.

The boat is wheelchair accessible and has a handicap accessible washroom on the main deck. Be aware that there is a slope from the parking lot to the dock. And accessing the boat via the gangway involves an incline up and then an incline down.

Infants do not need tickets. Infants not allowed if event is 18+. No outside food allowed except for infants. Strollers are allowed for most events but we cannot be held responsible for them.

We are licensed and offer full bar service. Food is available; prices and menu depend on the specific event you book.

WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY:

The Ship’s Captain makes all decisions regarding the safe sailing of the Edmonton Riverboat. He or she may decide to remain at port or return early due to weather, or even cancel sailing entirely because of inclement conditions. We run rain or shine…though we do cancel in the case of high winds or lightning. We'll provide updates on the website and social media if we are sure that we have to cancel an event..

Passenger safety comes first. If your ticket includes food, the Edmonton Riverboat will remain at dock and your meal will be served there. If the cruise is canceled by the Captain, and passengers are not permitted onboard the vessel, the ticket price will be refunded, or the cruise re-booked, at the customer’s option.

We are at the mercy of North Saskatchewan water levels–they fluctuate rapidly and are unpredictable. We strive to provide the highest quality sailing experience. Be aware that the sailing route may be adjusted depending on water levels.

The Edmonton Queen is a riverboat in Edmonton on the North Saskatchewan River. It started to sail on the river in 1995 and has been an emblematic attraction in the heart of the city ever since.
